• Progressive sterilization of exposed tissues in the wound
• Reduction in wound edema (swelling)
• Stimulation to activate the formation of healthy skin and tissue
• Minimal scar contracture
• Rapid reduction in wound pain

Over 24 hours, 6.0 to 14 micrograms of silver are passively released. Bacteria and fungi do not develop resistance to silver ions.
