Disinfection Directions (1:40)
1. Dip the padded end of the test strip into the diluted solution and remove immediately.
2. At the same time start the timer and shake the strip in a whipping motion three times to prevent excess liquid pooling on the strip.
3. The test strip colour should match the colour block between 35 and 40 seconds to indicate a PASS.
Sanitizing (1:128)
1. Dip the padded end of the test strip into the diluted solution and remove immediately.
2. At the same time start the timer and shake the strip in a whipping motion three times to prevent excess liquid pooling on the strip.
3. The test strip colour should match the colour block between 110 to 120 seconds (1 minute 50 seconds to 2 minutes) to indicate a PASS.
NOTE: Delayed reading of the strip colour may invalidate the results. The strip colour will continue to darken after the read time.
The following table provides an easy comparison of the dilution rates for the AHP products to parts per million (ppm).

Store the AHP Indicator Test Strips at room temperature between 15ºC–30ºC (59ºF-86ºF). Do not expose the strip to direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is closed tightly after each use.
Important Precautions
Keep the strip in the original container. Remove only the required strip before testing and immediately replace the cap tightly. Exposure of the uncovered strip to light and moisture may cause discoloration of the strip. Do not use the strip after the expiration date (opened or unopened). Do not touch the reagent pad with finger or any other surface. Once opened, the test kits have a shelf life of 6 months. Unopened test kits have a 24-month shelf life.
